Sashiko is the centuries old Japanese hand-stitching practice used to embellish, mend, strengthen and quilt, giving items longevity and beauty. We will explore how to use Sashiko thread and needle, draw out a pattern and sew a simple running stitch to create your sampler piece. You can choose how simple or intricate your piece will be, a needle and sufficient thread will be provided if you need to finish your sampler at home.

All materials will be provided, along with a drink and cake.

If you would like to bring an item to Sashiko instead of a sampler m, you are welcome to, but we cannot guarantee the supplies provided will be suitable. If this happens you can still work on the sampler provided.

The event will run on Thursday 27th June 7-9pm, lead by Natalie (@natoley)

Please note: no physical ticket required. Purchasing via this website will add you to our guest list. We look forward to seeing you!
